About Viviane Nicaise

Viviane Nicaise studied social work and worked for fifteen years in a mental hospital - at the same time being a dance teacher - before she discovered the joys of drawing at the age of 37. She enlisted in courses at the Art School in Brussels and presented her work to publisher Glénat, who initially rejected her, but brought her in contact with writer Jean Dufaux. Together, they made the series 'Sang de Lune', of which six albums have been published. Viviane Nicaise also cooperated with writer Dieter, with whom she made 'La Vie en Rose', published by Glénat in 2002. Text (c) Lambiek
