About Luca Erbetta

Born in Gênes, Luca Erbetta studied at the Ego Bianchi art school in Cuneo and at the School of Plastic Arts in Nice. After a collaboration with the Italian motor magazine Tuttomoto, he created his first comic album for the French market. '1881' was created in cooperation with scenarist Luca Blengino for Semic in 2004. Between 2005 and 2008 he drew six books in the series 'Watch' for Delcourt (scripts by Michaël Le Galli, inks by Fabio Bono). With Luca Blengino, he is co-scriptwriter of the Delcourt series 'Flamingo' and 'Gaijin'. Erbetta is also one of the artists of the series 'Alter Ego' for Dupuis since 2011. He is furthermore the artist of the Blengino scripted series 'Sam and Twitch - The Writer' for Image Comics in the USA. Text (c) Lambiek
