About Bruno Marchand
Bruno Marchand attended courses in comics at the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels. He has works in the comics field since 1989, starting with making short stories and illustrations for Tintin Reporter, Spirou and Bayard Presse. He has published art books like 'Ma Vie de Chat' (Delcourt) and 'François, 60 illustrations sur la vie du saint' (Mame) in the early 1990s. He teamed up with Moebius and created two books in the series 'Little Nemo' for Casterman in 1994 and 1995, in which the made a modern rendition of Winsor McCay's classic newspaper comic. A third and fourth book were written and drawn solely by Marchand in 2000 and 2002.
Marchand additionally published his solo comic 'Lumière de Sable' with Editions Point Image in 1996. Marchand's historical adventure series 'Quelques pas vers la lumière' is published by Éditions Quadrants since 2008. Bruno Marchand has also done the coloring for comics by artists like Marvano, Grenson, Wurm and Wozniak.
