Juan José Úbeda Fuentes was an artist of mainly action comics, working for the publishing house Bruguera in the 1960s and 1970s. He contributed to 'El Capitán Trueno' and made comic adaptations of 'Claudio y la Tabla Redondo' (1972), 'Los Caballeros Teutones' (1972), 'El Correo Rolando' (1974) and 'En el País de las Pieles' (1975) for the collection Joyas Literarias Juveniles.
