About José De Huescar

José de Huescar is a Spanish author who works mainly in the illustration field, most notably for the collection 'Pirates' of Mon Journal. However, for Pif Gadget he illustrated the series 'Agence Eureka' and the comics adaptations of the TV series 'Mannix'. He has also worked for the publishing houses Arédit and Larousse, where he cooperated on the series 'La Découverte du Monde en BD' and 'L'Histoire du Far West'. With scripts by Jean Ollivier, Huescar illustrated two comic adaptations of Kipling's 'Mowgli' in 1982 at the publishing house Vaillant. He has drawn short stories for Le Journal de Ludo at Éditions Vaillant in 1979. He was present in Circus under the pseudonym Garvi in 1987. In Spain, he has contributed to Hombres de Accion, a publication by Toray. Text (c) Lambiek
