Description
Giovanna Casotto, cartoonist and erotic illustrator, has often photographed and portrayed burlesque dancers.
This illustration, which depicts the Italian dancer Dolly Lamour, was published in various portfolios and within the volume ‘Pin-up’ published by B&M Edizioni in 2014; it was also exhibited in the same year at the comics museum in Milan (WOW Spazio Fumetto) on the occasion of the exhibition entitled ‘Il Punto C’ and dedicated to the author. According to Giovanna herself, who waited many years before selling it, the work is one of the most beautiful she has produced and certainly one of those to which she has remained most attached over time.
