About Patrick Prugne

French comic artist Patrick Prugne was born in Clermont-Ferrand and began his career working in the advertising field. In 1990, he won the Alph'Art Avenir in Angoulême with his comics parody of the fairytale 'The Tortoise and the Hare'. Encouraged, he then presented his work to several publishers in France. Vents d'Ouest was the first to accept his work, and hired him to draw the funny animal series 'Nelson et Trafalgar' by Jacky Goupil. Prugne and Goupil made five books between 1991 and 1993. Under the penname Tybo, Prugne has subsequently drawn several humor books for Vents d'Ouest, including the first nine installments in the collection 'Guides en BD' by Jacky Goupil between 1993 and 1999. In 1999 he started the heroic fantasy series 'Fol', of which he wrote and drew two books for Vents d'Ouest. He stayed in the fantasy genre for 'L'Auberge au Bout du Monde', a trilogy he made with Tiburce Oger for Casterman between 2004 and 2007. He also made the one-shot 'Canoë Bay' with Oger for publisher Daniel Maghen in 2009. Prugne has since then written and drawn the western one-shots 'Frenchman' (2011) and 'Pawnee' (2013) for Maghen, followed by 'Poulbots' for Éditions Margot in 2014. Text (c) Lambiek

charles20220 Extraordinaire de fraîcheur et pureté. Un hymne à la nature, l'innocence, qui sera contrarié par l'ombre de l'homme blanc (dernière case). Splendide.
