Optic Nerve page by Adrian Tomine

Optic Nerve #6 page 9. There were a few glaring holes in my collection and a Tomine Optic Nerve page was one of those. Hole plugged! I am happy to add this one which I like on many levels. The use of the standard 9 panel grid and art that on first glance is pretty tame until you get into the text. I like the uncomfortable conversation and the confidence of the female character to extricate herself from it. The two bookend panels stand out as nice start and stop points making this a good stand alone page too. The last panel is just perfect.
