About Simon Van Liemt

French artist Simon Van Liemt attended the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels, and began his career as an illustrator in the domain of advertising. Back in France, he joined the Gottferdom studios and made his first comics for the Soleil magazine Lanfeust Mag, including the feature 'Starship Princess' with Dominique Latil. He made his album debut with 'Incarnations', a series of three books written by Jean-Christophe Derrien and published by Glénat between 2003 and 2007. Van Liemt and Derrien then created the thriller series 'Poker' for Le Lombard in 2009. Le Lombard also hired him to draw 'Les Nouvelles Aventures de Ric Hochet', a restart of Tibet's classic comic series, from scripts by Zidrou in 2015. Text (c) Lambiek
