This drawing was used as cover for Spirou hebdomanaire #3466 (15th September 2004) and also as a poster for the exhibition "Spirou et la nouvelle école de Marcinelle" at the Musée de la BD/Maison Jijé (Sept/Oct 2004). Pencil and ink on 22x30cm board.

About Jose Luis Munuera
José Luis Munuera is a Spanish comics artist. Along with writer Jean-David Morvan, he was in charge of the classic Spirou et Fantasio series. Munuera kept close to the spirit of classic Spirou author Franquin's graphical style, while bringing a touch of manga-inspired modernism.
