About André Gosselin

André Gosselin was the artist of a French version of 'Tarzan' in Dargaud's Bob et Bobette magazine, starting in 1946. He worked for the publisher Artima during the 1950s and 1960s. He illustrated a great many covers as well as the adventures of 'Jack Hilson' in the collections Une Aventure de... and Audax and the 'Red Canyon' comic book (1954-1960). He also contributed to Sylvie and the Série 2200. Gosselin was furthermore the creator of the 'Tarzan' inspired series 'Moha', which also appeared in Audax. It later got its own title, illustrated by Gaston Niezab. After Niezab's death, Gosselin continued working on the strip again until 1958. Text (c) Lambiek
