Miss Lace by Philippe Berthet

It has been many years I have been anamoured with Philippe's work.  He has a classic noir style that lends itself to many classic themes.  I had always hoped to commission him to do a Dragon Lady for me as he has illustrated the character a few times but I was never fast enough on the dealer's sites to snag one.  I had little success through the dealers and brokers in getting a commission done so when Miss Lace came up, I thought it might be the next best thing.  Here is Caniff's second leading lady, Miss Lace.   I am happy to add this as my second piece by Berthet, the first being a page from his third tome of Pin Up.
