About Michael Zulli
Michael Zulli made his debut in comics in 1986 with 'Puma Blues', a tale of ecological responsibility, written by Stephen Murphy. He also contributed stories to Steve Bissette's horror anthology Taboo, as well as several 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' stories in the early 1990s (collected 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Soul's Winter'). He became known for his work on the epic 'Sandman', written by Neil Gaiman, in which series he drew 'The Wake' in a beautiful pencilled style.
With other writers, he has drawn the 'Sandman' spin-offs 'The Dreaming and Destiny: A Chronicle of Deaths Foretold' and 'Seekers' (DC Vertigo, 1996). For Dark Horse, and with Gaiman, he drew 'The Last Temptation', a fantasy tale about rock star Alice Cooper (1995), 'The Facts In The Case Of The Departure Of Miss Finch' (2007). He also did a couple of 'Grendel' stories. Zulli furthermore illustrated the J. Michael Straczynski novellas 'Delicate Creatures' and 'Midnight Nation', published by Image/Top Cow.
