Megg, Mogg and Owl by Simon Hanselmann

Simon Hanselmann is a Tasmanian comic creator who has become a bit of a sensation in recent years winning awards, accolades and praise from just about everyone. Although his art and humor may not be universally appreciated, there is a lot more to his work. It is humanistic and we piece together characters dealing with relationships, sexuality, abuse, addiction, mental health issues, social issues and life in a way that is painfully honest and at times stripped bare of all pretext. The characters are superficially derivative of a popular children's cartoon, Meg, Mog and Owl but reinvented in this strip that started as a web comic.

I won't physically have this page for another week or so but thought I would post it to counterbalance the '90's art I added a few minutes ago. They both have witch themes but otherwise couldn't be more different. I'll post a bigger and better scan of the art when it arrives.
