Miss Machiko was originally serialized in Shōnen Challenge (1980-82) and published by Gakken | The large success extended into 95 anime episode (Studio Pierrot, TV Tokyo, 1981-83) and six (6) full-length live-action films!
The manga revolves around Miss Machiko, a teacher who wears a red miniskirt and finds herself regularly in sexually charged situations. Machiko's students, especially the boys, enjoy lifting her skirt and devising traps to catch her in various stages of undress. Rather than getting angry, Machiko responds by laughing, while uttering her trademark phrase "Maicchingu!" (roughly meaning "embarrassing").
It's needless to say this is a manga that would be almost impossible to make or have published today !
