About Cándido Ruiz Pueyo
Cándido Ruiz Pueyo is a Spanish comic artist who has worked for several collections of Editorial Bruguera in the 1960s. For Historias, he made the comic adaptations of 'El Enigma del Buque Naúfrago', 'Dick Turpin y el Enmascarado', 'Aventuras de la Televisión', 'Buffalo Bill y el Correo Indio' and 'Un Viaje Interplanetario', and for Heroes, he illustrated 'Davy Crockett'. He was also present in the series Joyas Literarias Juveniles with 'Príncipe y Mendigo' and 'La Isla de Aventura'.
He has also done agency work for British girls' magazines like Romeo, Marilyn, Boyfriend, Valentine and Roxy in the 1960's, and for titles like 'Atomos' by Aredit in France. He drew 'Korak' stories that were syndicated throughout Europe in the late 1970's and 1980's. He signed his work with "Pueyo".
