About Morris
Maurice de Bevere, known as Morris, was a Belgian comic strip artist best known as the creator in 1946 of Lucky Luke, a popular series that he drew until his death, either alone or in collaboration with various scriptwriters, including René Goscinny. He first described comics as the "ninth art" in the 1965 issue of Spirou.
