Lockdown by Booda (Featuring the Bastard Ghosts) Sketchbook

During Covid lockdown I started a daily sketch-book of small imediate line drawings - Lockdown by Booda. I drew one new drawing each morning in bed, as a warm-up, before going to my studio to work on Project MKUltra which was completed under lockdown and published by Clover Press. The images reflect something of the isolation I felt then, although there was no theme intended. Prague was a ghost town, it was incredibly quite here. The first drawings in this book are of complex interiors with no exterior, like holes in emptiness, within which there is a complex world. At some point small ghosts started to emerge in my drawings and then beings with large heads and small appendages (or wheels). The ghosts begin tormenting the ‘Big Heads’.
