Legein repris la serie Dampierre apres Swolfs pour 7 albums. Sur cette planche, le dessinateur ne s'ecarte pas du style de son precedesseur (et scenariste) pour notre bonheur : des personnages tres typés, une grande case très detaillée et un encrage de grande qualité.
L'action se passe au Mans, superbe ville aux rues chargées d'histoire que l'auteur a très bien restitué dans ces dessins.

About Pierre Legein
Born in Brussels, Pierre Legein spent his early childhood in Canada and The Netherlands. He began studying medicines at age 18, and he followed art courses at the same time. He studied journalism for two years, before he focused completely on drawing. He took courses by Eddy Paape, where he met Didier Crisse. Legein entered the fields under the guidance of Crisse. He began doing storyboards and advertising arts. His first comics work was assisting MiTacq on an episode of 'La Patrouille des Castors'. After a brief appearance in Hello Bédé, he took over the artwork of the series 'Dampierre' from Eric in 1994 (text by Yves Swolfs).
