About Christopher Dunn

Chris Dunn is an English illustrator and gallery artist based in Wiltshire, UK. Most of his recent project is a series of watercolor paintings inspired by the classic children’s story The Wind in the Willows. He specializes in watercolor paintings, heavily influenced by wildlife and classic children’s books and literature. In his artwork, atmosphere and narrative combine to form a magical environment for his characters to inhabit. Chris graduated from Bath Spa University in 2008. Since then he has been working as a freelance illustrator working with editorial and publishing clients, such as Haymarket, BBC Audiobooks, The Times and Daniel Maghen Gallery. From 2011, he won many awards, such as Bath Artists Society Young Artist Prize (2012) and Pound Art Open People’s Choice Award (2014). Chris is also starting to develop a gallery presence with his original watercolors and prints, which appeared in Bath Artists Society Open Exhibition in Victoria Gallery, Bath (2012) and Joint Show with Joe Weatherly in Galerie Daniel Maghen, Paris (2016).
