About Régric

Régric, whose real name is Frédéric Legrain, made his first comic stories for the magazine Triolo, published by Fleurus. In 1994 he turned to the field of animation, and participated in the 'Lucky Luke' TV series, among others. In 1995 Régric made a pastiche of Hergé's final, unfinished 'Tintin' album, 'Tintin et l'Alph-Art'. He wasn't the first artist to make a bootleg of this story. Ramo Nash made one in 1988, followed by Yves Rodier in 1991. In 2003 he began his association with Jacques Martin, for whom he drew three books about aviation in the series 'Les Voyages de Lefranc'. He also drew the 20th book in the regular 'Lefranc' series, which was written by Michel Jacquemart in 2009. Text (c) Lambiek
