Second album of The world of Aedena.
Page 45
When I got these World of Aedena albums in the 80s I have to admit that I didn't understand everything (I still don't!).
But this page was the one I remembered. Stel discovers his sexuality and desires, while he is suddenly urged to fight against an uprising plant beast that represents his new hallucinatory animal instincts and needs. He is stabbed by the beast and thrown out of the pyramid (which I think is another picture for the paradise).
This picture was so powerful that it always stayed with me (pretty much like the final page of "The eyes of the cat"). So I am very happy to have this page in my collection. It is a beauty!
