About Tirso

Tirso Cons was born in Pontevedra, and lives and works in Madrid. Graduated in advertising, he began his career in the illustration field. He worked as art director at the Contrepoint agency until 2003 before he turned to comics. His album 'L'Oeil du Diable' ('El Ojo del Diablo') was published in France by Paquet and in Spanish by Recerca Editorial in 2005 (script by Wander Altunes). This comic earned him the "best newcomer" award during the Moulins festival in 2005. While making 'Tuer un Fantôme', a story that remained unpublished, he was assigned to take over the series 'Marshall' with scripts by Denis-Pierre Filipi at Les Humanoïdes Associés. In 2006, he be began working on a new project for Les Humanoïdes with David Muñoz, called 'Le Manoir des Murmures'. Text (c) Lambiek
