About Michel Suro

His first pages were published in the daily La Dépêche du Midi in 1992. A year later he worked with writer Corbeyran for the first time on a comics project that remained unfinished. Suro then teamed up with François Corteggiani with whom he created the western series 'Sundance' for Glénat's Vécu collection between 1995 and 1998. He additionally made 'Barca' with scriptwriter Simon Rocca for Soleil Productions in 1996. In 1999 he teamed up with Corbeyran again, and started 'Le Clan des Chimères', a spin-off series of Corbeyran's series 'Le Chant des Stryges'. The team made six albums of this fantasy series for Delcourt until 2007, and they have continued their collaboration with the series 'Le Siècle des Ombres' since 2009. For Éditions Milan, Suro has additionally made an adaptation Dominique Baudis' 'Raimond le Cathare' with Corteggiani in 2004, and a comic about the history of the French Castelnaudary commune ('Vent de cocagne') with Alfred Morera in 2008. He furthermore made one album of 'Jugurtha' with Jean-Luc Vernal (Soleil, 2012) and created 'Démons' with Richard D. Nolane in 2012. Text (c) Lambiek
