Description
John Carter comes face to face with The Great One as the battle in the Martian skies. Kane is credited with breakdowns and finishes by a group of Filipino artists (quite possibly including Rudy Nebres). Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Light toning, top corners are clipped, marginal tape residue, and blue production marks. In Very Good condition.

About Gil Kane
Gil Kane, born Eli Katz, was an American comic book artist whose career spanned the 1940s to the 1990s and every major comics company and character. Kane co-created the modern-day versions of the superheroes Green Lantern and the Atom for DC Comics, and co-created Iron Fist with Roy Thomas for Marvel Comics.
