About Dominique David

Dominique David studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Charleroi and the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels. In 1982, she met Michel Deligne, who published her first comic, 'Rêve Acide' in his magazine Le Journal Illustré Le Plus Grand Du Monde. The story appeared as an album at Magic-Strip in 1985. After an appearance in Révolution, David joined the magazine Spirou in 1984. She drew several short stories of the series 'Jimmy Boy'. From 1988 to 1995, the adventures of this young American vagabond in the 1920s appeared in longer, continuing stories. In 1998, she drew 'Lipstick' in the collection Bulle Noire of the publishing house Glénat. In addition, she wrote the scenarios of the series 'Les Mondes Engloutis' for Riff Reb's from 1985 to 1986, and 'La Dame, Le Cygne et L'Ombre' for Philippe Berthet in 1989. Texte (c) Lambiek
