Super-Early Garfield daily from the first 4 months of syndication featuring Garfield and his caretaker Jon. Art from 1978 is very rare and only very few examples are in private collections. These are especially of interest as Jim Davis is said to have only done all art during the first year of the strip, after which ghost artists did the inking and from 1984 onwards those also did the pencils...
