About Mike Ratera

Mike Ratera studied art at the Escola Massana in Barcelona in the late 1970s. He co-founded Zero Comics in 1981, a fanzine that published the first works of artists like Miguelanxo Prado, Pascual Ferry and Das Pastoras. Ratera has published in a variety of international magazines, such as Rambla, El Víbora, Makoki, Totem, Creepy, Comix Internacional and Spécial Zembla. His most famous include 'Minca la Taxista, Broadway' (1993), 'Supersoldiers' (Marvel UK, 1993), 'Hunter' (1995), 'Hamramr' (Glenat Spain, 1995), 'Conan the Conqueror - Walls of Worclaw' (Marvel Italia, 1996), 'Witchfinders' (Planeta de Agostini, 1997-2000), 'Kabur', 'King Kabur' (Semic, 2001-2003) and 'Bad Legion' (Soleil, 2004).
