Description

There has only been 1 page that the auction houses have offered up from this issue that features the first appearance and origin of Luke Cage - Hero for Hire. He will eventually become Power Man and later join the Fantastic Four for a while. The significance of this page is that Luke Cage saves the life of Willis Stryker, who will become Diamond Back later in the story. It even has the main love interest of the 2 men which the rivalry Leeds to Willis framing Luke and sets him up to go to prison, which will eventually lead him to becoming the Hero for Hire Superhero. So this page actually has 3 of the most important characters that will be instrumental to Luke Cage becoming a Superhero.
