Personal and political drama are intertwined in this pair of Sunday strips dated 10-2 and 10-30 of 1988. Though Frank Bolle officially took over in 1989, he was already assisting and ghosting on the strip, so his hand may be in the mix here eventhough the caracteristc Stan Drake is visible on the close-up in the last panel. Ink and marker over graphite on Bristol board with image areas of 15.25" x 7". Slight toning, stat art paste-ups in several panels, marginal staple holes, blue pencil editorial notes/marks, text paste-up/whiteout corrections, production tape/marks in the margins, with smudging and handling wear. Overall, in Very Good condition.
