About Chloé Cruchaudet

Chloé Cruchaudet was born in Lyon in 1976. She attended the Émile Cohl School of Applied Arts and then studied animation at the Gobelins school in Paris. After her graduation in 2000, she participated in several TV series, such as 'L'Âne tro-tro' and 'Atomic Betty'. She additionally started to work as an illustrator for the children's press, and since 2006 she has done contributions to many collective comic books on subjects as La Fontaine and song adaptations. Cruchaudet made her actual debut as a comics author with the historical book 'Groenland Manhattan' at Delcourt in 2008. Delcourt also published three books of her series 'Ida', between 2009 and 2012, as well as 'Mauvais genre', her biographical love story set during World War I, in 2013. In 2015 she came up with a children's comic, 'La Poudre d'Escampette', as always published by Delcourt. Text (c) Lambiek
