About Thierry Labrosse

Thierry Labrosse is a Québec comic book artist, originally from Montreal. After his general studies, he did his illustration assignment at age 19, producing artwork for a 'Goldorak' agenda. He soon established himself as a versatile artist in the Canadese advertising industry. He subsequently focused on animation, doing storyboards for both cinema and television, and participating in series like 'Princesse Sissi' and 'Bad Dog'. He created his first comic book for Soleil Productions in 1996. 'Bug Hunters', written by Claude Ecken and Scotch Arleston, was followed by the the sci-fi 'Moréa' series, for which Labrosse worked on the first five books with writer Arleston between 2000 and 2007. He remained in the sci-fi genre for his post-apocalyptic solo comic 'Ab Irato', that appeared in three books at Vents d'Ouest from 2010 to 2015. Text (c) Lambiek
