Alfredo De La María (1945– ) is a prominent Uruguayan artist, internationally renowned for his dynamic oil paintings of classic cars and motorsports. His style captures speed and elegance through expressive brushstrokes and a masterful use of light. Born in Montevideo, De La María began his career as an illustrator for Paris Match magazine in Europe and for the celebrated Argentine publishing house Editorial Abril [Artistas de Fierro]. In the 1980s, he dedicated himself fully to motorsports art, becoming the official painter of the Automobile Club de France and the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK [Autoart]. His original works and limited-edition prints are highly sought after by collectors worldwide [Motorsport Collector].
