Commentaire
From her wonderful and moving book Extinction.
Mol is one of the most exciting cartoonists in the burgeoning Portland art comic scene.
The pencil work is top notch and the story moving, Mol does a really great job building the emotion to a climax and then knowing what to do with it when she gets there. One of my favorite comics of 2024.
Mol told me she didn't originally intend for this page to be the cover so if you look carefully you can notice that the the pencil line extends at a point along the borders as she expanded the drawing to be able to use the page as the cover.
"It’s a timeless piece of work that somehow made me emotional that this fae denizen was depressed." - RJ Casey for The Comic Journal
"Mol's gorgeous pencil artwork in this is something to behold and fits the fluid, poetic structure and ecological themes of her story to the proverbial "T." - Ryan Ryan C.'s Four Color Apocalypse
"Debut masterpiece" - Austin English, The Comics Journal Editor
