Esthètique et filatures

Tanxxx is a French comic artist and illustrator. She is known in the Bordeaux area for her rock posters and flyers, and her punk drawings can be found on the walls, counters and tables of rock bars, clubs and music stores. She released her first comic book, 'Rock Zombie', with Les Requins Marteaux in 2005. She won the Prix Artémisia 2009 for 'Esthétique et Filatures', her collaboration with Lisa Mandel for Casterman in Brussels. She worked with Loïc Dauvillier on 'Neuf pieds sous terre' for Éditions 6 Pieds sous Terre in 2010. Further solo works are 'Double Trouble' (Les Enfants Rouges, 2007), 'The joy of femmes à poil' (Vide-Cocagne, 2011) and 'Faire danser les morts' (Éditions Même pas mal, 2012). She also publishes her work in the series called simply 'Tanxxx', at Éditions Charette. She also participated in the online serial 'Les Autres Gens' by Thomas Cadène between 2010 and 2013.
