I have long wanted a color cover from Eric Powell’s wonderful series “The Goon” and this fits the bill just perfect...probably my absolute favorite The Goon cover...thanks again Gabin, for making this collector VERY happy!!! :-))
This comes from the “Murderous Childhood” storyline (one of my favorite Goon stories) and was executed in Aquarell & Gouache in 2005...it was used as the cover of the second volume of the french reprint compilation...I’d love to hear whether it has been reprinted elsewhere...

About Eric Powell
Eric Powell is an American comic book artist and writer. Since 1995, he has worked with Marvel Comics, initially as an inker (Hulk, Black Panther), DC Comics (Batman - Arkham Asylum: Living Hell) and, more notably, Dark Horse (Buffy, Angel, Star Wars Tales and Hellboy: Histoires Bizarres). But it was with his own title, The Goon, that he found success.
