Stunning gigantic (202cm x 81,5cm!!!) finished Drew Struzan painting, done in 1984 for the 50th birthday of the 20th Century Fox movie studio. This was published in 1984 as a fold-out cover for the Hollywood Reporter and in the Drew Struzan “Oeuvre” book.
Sorry for the bad pictures, but it’s still framed behind glass (a sticker on the back states that it was in the “Drew - The Art of the Cinema” exhibition in the Norman Rockwell Museum, that ran from June 11th until October 31st 1999).
So many memorable scenes from some of greatest movies of all times (I wish it was possible to upload more additional pictures to share more close-ups)…my favorite of these is undoubtedly Star Wars - A New Hope, but I’m curious to hear if any of you have different preferences…
