About Pierre-Henry Gomont

Pierre-Henry Gomont is a French comic artist, who lives in the Paris region. He made his debut in 2011 with 'Kirkenes', a graphic novel written by Jonathan Châtel and published by Les Enfants Rouges. Manolosanctis released his solo work 'Catalyse' in that same year. He then worked with writer Éric Borg on the crime comic 'Crematorium' (Kstr, 2012), and with Eddy Simon on 'Rouge Karma' (Sarbacane, 2014). He made an adaptation of the Marcus Malte novel 'Les Nuits de Saturne' for Sarbacane in 2015. Prior to becoming a comic artist, he was a sociologist, and he uses his experiences from this field to give his stories an ethnographic and social dimension. Text (c) Lambiek
