Beautiful page (p3) from one of my favorite Don Rosa treasure hunting stories, “The Quest for Kalevala” (1999), which is based upon the finish national epos the “Kalevala”...
This is the second of 2 consecutive pages take part inside the moneybin AND tell an episode/flashback into Scrooge’s youth in Glasgow, Scotland.
As far as I know this is the only Don Rosa (original art) story that is not lettered in English (most original art is not lettered at all), but in finish (by the original finish letterer Jussi Karjalainen). As it was first published in Finland and is based upon their national Epos, this seems only fitting.
