About Eric Chabbert

Eric Chabbert was born in Nancy, France in 1966. He moved to Paris with his family when he was six years old. He studied philosophy, after which he eventually became an art director with an advertising agency. He took part in a comics contest held by magazine Vécu, after which he was asked by publisher Glénat to become a professional comic artist. He created the series 'Docteur Monge' with Daniel Bardet between 1998 and 2002. This was followed by the science fiction series 'Nova Genesis' with Pierre Boisserie from 2002 to 2007. He then joined forces with Éric Corbeyran for the fantasy saga 'Uchronie(s) - New Byzance' in the collection Glénat Grafica between 2008 and 2010, and then 'BlackStone' from 2012.
