Asano-Sensei was at TCAF today. I got to meet him, get a little dedication and got to watch a great interview/panel he did. My favorite living manga artist/writer. I have read everything he has done that has been translated and each has touched me deeply in different ways. Although I think Goodnight Pun Pun is his most important and personal work, I still gravitate to my first Asano experience which was Solanin. So in choosing which book to get signed, it was either Pun Pun or Solanin and the later won out.
