About Ed Benes
Ed Benes was born Alto Santo in Ceará, Brazil. He has been working in the US comic book industry since 1993, when he drew 'Samuree' for Continuity Comics. Since then, he has worked on a wide variety of titles, mainly for DC, including 'Gen13', 'Thundercats', 'X-Men', 'Iron Man', 'Glory', and 'Codename: Knockout'. He has had successful runs on DC series like 'Supergirl', 'Birds of Prey', 'Superman' and 'Justice League of America'. He is also training rising talent in the Ed Benes Studio.
