About Olivier Texier
Olivier Texier was born in Nantes in 1972, where he still lives and works today. He self-published 34 comic books between 1997 and 2004, and now works several French publishers of alternative comics, such as Humeurs, Les Requins Marteaux and Vide Cocagne. Texier is probably best-known for his strips 'Le Bar' and 'Grotesk', that have appeared in Psikopat. He has also contributed to magazines like Ferraille, Professeur Cyclope, Aaarg, Comix Club and Bonheur. He has furthermore participated in collective books like 'L'abécédaire' (L'Egouttoir, 2005), 'Aaarg... je meurs' (Les Éditions Même pas mal, 2009) and 'Bonheur' (La Rouquine, 2012), and he worked with X-90 on the books 'L'Éléphant de Terre deux' (2001) and 'Zebra et la statuette infernale' (2004) at Les Requins Marteaux.
Le Dernier Cri and Humus published books with his pornographic work in 2001 and 2013, and he released an illustration book called 'Mal Faits' with Les Rêveurs in 2008. His scifi humor comic 'Croisière Cosmos' appeared in Delcourt's Shampooing collection, and he is the author of absurd and disturbed humor comics like 'Histoires sans gag' (Vide Cocagne, 2013), 'Marv & Jonny' (Les Requins Marteaux, 2013) and the 'Texas' series (Vide Cocagne, since 2014).
