Alternative version of the final page of the book "Croc and Bird", by Alexis Deacon, the British children's author and illustrator.
His first book, Slow Loris, won the «Blu Peter Book Award» and in 2015 the book was included by «Time» in the list of the 100 best children's books of all time. His books Beegu and Jitterbug Jam were twice shortlisted by the «New York Times» for the «Best Illustrated Children's Books Award». In 2008 he was included by «Booktrust» in the top ten illustrators of the last decade.
Very sweet illustration, it perfectly expresses the unconditional love that emerges even in diversity and distance, the central theme of the book.
