About Vicenç Farrés Sensarrich

Vicenç Farrés Sensarrich was born in Igualada, and a comics fan since his early childhood. His first comics were published in the magazines Disco (1953) and Sauce (1954). He illustrated several issues of 'Celia' and 'Trovador' in 1954. Afterwards, he began contributing to series like 'Un Cuento Semanal', 'Dick Sand' (1955), 'Dalia' (1956) and '4 Rosas' (1958). He spent most of his career drawing for the French market. He drew war comics for the popular Hazañas Bélicas title, as well as its variants. During the 1960s, he also contributed to Relatos de Guerra, Espionaje and Brigada Secreta. When the Spanish comics market collapsed, he began drawing more extensively for foreign publishers. His final comics work for Spain was finishing the series 'Bruce Lee' in 1985. Text (c) Lambiek
