Description
Original painted artwork by Carlos Maglia, signed and dated 1977
Conan the Barbarian very much in the style of Boris Vallejo
Published or intended on publishing in either or both 'Lanciostory' and/or 'Skorpio'
The stunning piece was recovered from the 'atelier' of Meglia after his passing away in 2008
I added Ernie Chan in concept since Ernie did a similar cover or design for a cover in 1976 | 2 covers for the same story in the same period but which story ?

The stunning composition of the waves crashing against Conan, the girl, the rocks and the sea creature ...
the ominous sky, the detail in the 'monster' and colors used make this an amazing piece; a painting worthy of a mantelpiece !
