In this page from "The Sorceress of the Swamp!", Neth-at invites Conan to ride with his band of peaceful outlanders through the perilous Viper's Head -- an offer Conan accepts, despite the tension it carried moments before. As they travel, Neth-at explains how the sinister sorcerer Toroa has twisted the once-harmonious region into a place of fear and darkness, forging an uneasy alliance on the road to rebellion. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Tear on left edge into final panel, heavy creasing/wrinkling in top left corner of page, creasing across page in top and bottom tiers, tape residue staining on top/bottom edges, light toning, smudging, page number paste-up, stripped-in text held by tape on the back in Panel 1, production oil staining in image area, blue pencil editorial marks, trimmed edges, and handling wear.
