Description
Conan's enchanted amulet helps ward him against a phantom bat as the Cimmerian collapses after the frightening encounter. Ink and screentone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, vellum overlay with art for added effects taped at the top, marginal notes, blue pencil editorial notes/marks and whiteout corrections, edge tears and missing corners, with creasing, staining, and edge/handling wear. In Very Good condition.

Le talent et le format des retoucheurs nous gratifiait parfois d'ajustements et d'encrages pour le moins hasardeux... comme sur cette planche.

About John Buscema
John Buscema, born Giovanni Natale Buscema, was an American comic-book artist and one of the mainstays of Marvel Comics during its 1960s and 1970s ascendancy into an industry leader and its subsequent expansion to a major pop culture conglomerate.
