About Mike Dorey

Mike Dorey is an artist with a dark, textured style who worked for DC Thomson and IPC in the 1970s, 80s and 90s, sometimes under the pseudonym J. Clough. In the late 1970s and early 1980s he drew "Cadman, the Fighting Coward" in The Victor, "Hellman of Hammer Force" in Action and Battle, "Big Willi", "Iron Annie" and "Sergeant Rayker" in Warlord, "Invasion", "Ro-Busters", "M.A.C.H. Zero" and "Rogue Trooper" in 2000 AD, and "Victor Drago" in Tornado. He went on to draw "Computer Warrior" in the revived Eagle (1986-), "Sandra the She-Devil" in Heavy Metal (1988), and "Future Ball" in Roy of the Rovers (1992-93).
