About Claude Dubois

Claude Dubois started out as an illustrator for L'Est Républicain and La Vie du Rail. Afterwards, he joined Fleurus publishers. After several stories he took over the 'Perlin et Pinpin' series after the death of its creator, Maurice Cuvillier in 1958. He added the monkey Kiligolo to the series, a character that got his own series from 1968. From 1960 he alternated with Jean-Louis Pesch on the 'Sylvain et Sylvette' series in Fripounet.
